Gracie Lou is nervous. She’s starting soccer camp tomorrow, but she has never played soccer before. What if she can’t kick the ball, or if everyone runs faster than her? What if the snack is yucky or the coach is grouchy?
Luckily, she has her shooting star to help her. In the night, it takes Gracie Lou off on a special adventure that tickles her five senses. Along the way she meets five baby animals who need her help. Gracie Lou helps each of them try new things, and when she does, she discovers for herself that trying something new can be good for you!
Join our young gardener as she spends her Sundays picking juicy red tomatoes, catching beautiful black and orange butterflies, counting the daisies in her basket, scooping up
caterpillars, and much more.
Larissa Juliano’s joyful word play begs to be read aloud again and again to toddlers sitting on laps… and dreaming of sunny days in Nana’s garden.
Explore GRANDPA’S WORKSHOP and discover delights and surprises around every corner.
When Grandpa and his grandson spend the afternoon in his wood-smelling shed, they scan the shelves and organize the workshop, sorting nails, screws, and other trinkets. And, no workshop is complete without a sparkly, sticky spider web to marvel.
